Girona FC faced a disappointing 1-2 loss against Celta de Vigo this Sunday at Montilivi, failing to maintain their first-half lead in a hard-fought match.

Vanat opened the scoring for the hosts in the 35th minute, but Celta turned the game around in the second half. Jutglà equalized in the 58th minute, and a 70th-minute own goal by Vitor Reis sealed the victory for the away side.
Despite late pressure from Ounahi and several saves by Radu, Girona could not find the equalizer. The result leaves the Catalan side six points above the relegation zone.
