The Servei Meteorològic de Catalunya has confirmed a weather shift in Girona and across the territory, characterized by anticyclonic stability bringing maximum temperatures above 20 degrees.

Following a turbulent weekend where wind was the main protagonist, with gusts reaching 167 km/h in Portbou, the forecast for Monday and Tuesday points to a meteorological truce. The departure of the storm has allowed an anticyclonic ridge to enter, leaving clear skies across the Girona area.
Although minimum temperatures in the province dropped to 2ºC overnight, maximums will experience a moderate increase. Thermometers are expected to break the 20-degree barrier in various locations, providing a spring-like atmosphere to end the winter season.
Looking ahead to Tuesday, the trend will remain stable with mostly clear skies. In Girona city, temperatures could rise to 21ºC, while the interior of Catalonia will also notice this thermal increase. Winds will gradually lose strength throughout the day.
