The festival, taking place from July 17-19, promises to turn the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya into a major meeting point for urban sports enthusiasts. The organization has placed a special emphasis on logistics to ensure a "brutal" experience for attendees, including free parking, public transport, rest areas, and gastronomic offerings.
To facilitate access, visitors opting for private vehicles will have free parking. For those who prefer not to drive, Rodalies trains connect Barcelona with Montmeló, from where a shuttle bus service will transport attendees to the festival entrance. The proximity of towns like Montmeló, Granollers, and Barcelona makes GRAVITEO an attractive proposition for a weekend getaway.
The planning also accounts for high summer temperatures with the installation of ample shaded areas in various parts of the venue, including the speed climbing and bouldering spaces, the Street zone, and the Vertical discipline area. The gastronomic area will feature sun-protected zones, eight food trucks, and an air-conditioned restaurant with a capacity for 250 people, in addition to a chill-out space.
The CUPRA brand will have an experiential space where visitors can discover the new CUPRA Raval and participate in activations, accompanied by live DJ sets, merging mobility, music, and sport.
The festival, organized by Prensa Ibérica and Fira Circuit with support from institutions such as Esportcat – Generalitat de Catalunya, the Consell Superior d’Esports, and sports federations, will feature international and national urban sports competitions, music, and public activities.
