The day of protest began with a popular breakfast and an assembly in Girona, where professionals decided to raise the tone of their demands. Teachers announced that, due to the lack of agreements with the Department of Education, they will stop taking charge of the practical training of university students, a task they consider unrecognized.
This measure adds to the protest actions already taking place in various educational centers across the country. Demonstrators marched through the city center and held a sit-in in front of the territorial headquarters of Education. According to representatives of the collective, the goal is for universities to also take a stand in favor of the teachers' demands.

The mobilizations were not limited to the capital of Girona. In the Bages region, teachers staged road blocks on the C-16, C-55, and C-25, with gatherings lasting several hours. Strike participation figures remain a point of contention: while the Department of Education puts the turnout at 21.5%, unions raise it to 55%.
