Singer Martirio will perform this Saturday at the Auditori Espai Ter in Torroella de Montgrí, presenting her new show Al sur del Tango, the artist's only performance in the Girona region.

Martirio's artistic proposal delves into the Argentine and Spanish roots of tango, establishing a dialogue with copla, a genre the artist has extensively explored throughout almost four decades of her musical career.
During the show, the singer will perform a selection of songs linked to the popular music and dance of Argentina and Uruguay. Martirio will take the stage with her characteristic aesthetic, accompanied by a trio of musicians.
The accompanying trio consists of Argentine Marcelo Mercadante on bandoneon, Catalan violinist Olvido Lanza, and Cadiz-born pianist Jesús Lavilla, who will contribute their expertise to this fusion of sounds.
