Bàsquet Girona guard Maxi Fjellerup returned to official competition this February at the Palau after overcoming a complex ankle injury that sidelined him for three and a half months.

The Argentine player, who holds the record for most official games with the club at 121 appearances, has faced a difficult start to the season. Fjellerup admitted that the uncertainty regarding his recovery timeline was the most challenging aspect of his absence.

"Not knowing when I would return, whether it would be one month or two, was what bothered me the most."

Despite still feeling slight discomfort, the 1.98m guard has rejoined the team's rotation. His return comes as the squad prepares for upcoming key matchups, including the regional clash against Lleida.
