MIC 2026 to Host Record 464 Teams in Costa Brava

The international youth football tournament will bring 8,500 players from 40 countries to Girona this Easter.

The MICFootball tournament has unveiled its 24th edition, scheduled from March 31 to April 5 across Girona, featuring a record-breaking 464 teams from around the globe.

Presented at Barcelona's CosmoCaixa Science Museum, the event was supported by FC Barcelona stars Pau Cubarsí and Kika Nazareth. The competition will involve over 8,500 players from 40 countries, competing in nine different age categories.
Matches will take place in 45 municipalities, with Figueres and Palamós hosting the most significant games, including the opening ceremony and finals. Elite clubs such as Real Madrid, Liverpool, Juventus, and Ajax have confirmed their participation in this world-class youth event.
