Girona FC manager Míchel Sánchez has welcomed back midfielder Ounahi following his injury, providing a significant boost to the team's attacking options for the final 14 matches of the season.

The Moroccan international made an immediate impact during the recent draw against Alavés at Mendizorrotza (2-2). Despite being away for 73 days due to the Africa Cup of Nations and a muscle injury, Ounahi provided an assist for Tsygankov shortly after coming on.

"I am very happy he is back with us. He will help us, but it is also true that in the 73 days without him, the team achieved good results."

With most players fit, Míchel now faces intense competition for starting spots. Midfielders like Fran Beltrán, Echeverri, and Lemar will compete for positions as the team prepares to host Celta Vigo at Montilivi.
