A total of 2,223 members of FC Barcelona visited the Casa de Cultura in Girona this Sunday to vote for the club's next president.

The turnout in Girona exceeded the figures from the 2021 elections held at Fontajau. Throughout the day, fans from across the province, including Olot and the Costa Brava, gathered at the city center to participate in the democratic process of the club.
Notable figures such as Bàsquet Girona president Marc Gasol and former goalkeeper Albert Jorquera were among those who cast their ballots. Despite strong winds that forced organizers to move flags indoors, the five polling stations remained busy until the evening.
The election, contested by Joan Laporta and Víctor Font, saw a steady flow of voters even during the Barça match against Sevilla. Girona's contribution was part of a massive mobilization of over 114,000 members across Catalonia.
