Three packages of cocaine, each bearing a distinctive stamp of Christ with the inscription 'you will always live in the memory of your friends,' have washed ashore on beaches in Badalona, Tarragona, and Sitges within a week.

The Mossos d’Esquadra (Catalan Police) have launched an investigation after swimmers found three drug packages floating in the sea, believed to be from the same shipment. The total amount of cocaine recovered so far exceeds three kilograms.
The first package was discovered in Badalona on August 10th, the second in Tarragona on August 13th, and the third in Sitges this past Tuesday. These findings mirror a similar incident a month ago in Castellón, where a surfer found a package with the identical image and message.

"We hope to resolve the origin of these packages soon."

Units from the Maritime and Air Police of Mossos are currently searching the Catalan coastline. Investigators believe the three packages are linked due to their distinctive stamp and have not ruled out the possibility of more packages appearing at sea, although it is speculated that the shipment may have been lost about two months ago. The investigation also includes analyzing the drug's composition and the potential formation of a joint task force with the Guardia Civil (Civil Guard).
The initial discovery in Badalona was made by a swimmer who handed the suspicious package to lifeguards. They, in turn, alerted the local Guardia Urbana and the Mossos. Officers confirmed the contents to be cocaine. The connection between the packages is established by the identical stamp and message. Authorities are considering scenarios where the drugs were thrown overboard by traffickers upon being discovered or were lost accidentally.
