Sarrià de Ter will become the hub of national youth handball from May 14 to 17, hosting the 25-26 Women's Youth State Championship at the Pavelló de la Unió Esportiva Sarrià.

The Royal Spanish Handball Federation (RFEB) has designated the Girona municipality as the venue for Sector D of this important competition. This phase comes at a particularly significant moment for the local club, as the Sarrià players have just been crowned champions of Catalonia.
The team faces this new challenge with great enthusiasm and the added motivation of playing in front of their home crowd. The matchups will take place in two groups of three teams, each with its own league stage.
Sarrià, in group 1, will face Anaitasuna A and Balonmano Colindres. Meanwhile, group 2 will consist of El Pilar Valencia, Mail Boxes Zarautz, and Schär Colores Pedro de Luna. The final standings will be decided on Sunday with a final match pitting teams against each other based on their group classification.
The third-placed teams from each group will compete for fifth and sixth place. The second-placed teams will face off to determine third and fourth place, while the group winners will decide who takes the sector victory and second place.
The winner of this sector will advance to the final phase of the Spanish Championship, scheduled for late May, with the venue yet to be confirmed.
