Regulated by Royal Decree-law 3/2021, this measure compensates for the professional impact of childcare. For 2026, the fixed amount is 36.90 euros per month per child, reaching a maximum of 147.60 euros for four children. This extra payment does not count towards the maximum pension limit.

Eligible individuals must hold a contributory pension and have children registered in the Civil Registry. Men must prove their professional career was affected by the birth or adoption. Applications can be submitted online or at Social Security offices.
