Two-car accident closes C-65 highway in Llambilles leaving one injured

A collision between two vehicles on the C-65 highway near Llambilles forced a total traffic closure this Wednesday afternoon and left one person with minor injuries.

The emergency services received the alert at 5:18 PM. The crash affected both directions of the road, leading to a complete shutdown while crews worked on-site to assist the victim and clear the wreckage.
Units from the Mossos d'Esquadra police, Bombers (Firefighters), and SEM medical emergency services were deployed to the scene to manage the situation and ensure road safety.
Traffic flow began to return to normal around 7:21 PM. Despite the reopening of the lanes, significant queues remained in both directions for some time until the congestion cleared.
