A student from the INS Dertosa Hospitality School has achieved third place in the third edition of the national Generación Belcolade competition, a key event for emerging talents in chocolate and pastry making.

The event, organized by Puratos, took place on May 6 and 7 at the company's facilities in Sils, within the Girona region. The competition gathered five young finalists from various hospitality and pastry schools across the country.
During the challenges, participants had to demonstrate their skills by creating an artistic chocolate piece, an author's chocolate bar, and a chocolate cake. All creations had to be inspired by the concept of “texture,” which was the central theme of this edition.
The jury, composed of renowned professionals from the sector, evaluated aspects such as creativity, technical mastery of the product, balance of flavors, and the originality of the proposals presented by the contestants.
With this recognition, the student from INS Dertosa solidifies their promising career in the world of pastry and chocolate, representing the Terres de l'Ebre in a top-tier competition that highlights emerging talent in the industry.
