The Unió de Pagesos union has secured victory in the 2026 Agricultural Elections in Catalonia, obtaining 47% of the total votes and maintaining its leadership in the sector's governance.

With all votes counted, Unió de Pagesos received 4,417 votes, a decrease from the 55% they achieved in 2021. JARC followed in second place with 2,822 votes, representing 30% of the total, which guarantees their continued presence at the Agricultural Table for the next five years.
The election was characterized by a strong protest movement led by Revolta Pagesa, which encouraged voters to cast null ballots. This resulted in nearly 20% null votes, alongside a 5% blank vote rate. Total participation stood at 54.78%, with 11,709 farmers taking part in the process.
Other organizations such as Asaja (11%), Assemblea Pagesa (5%), and UPA (1.9%) failed to reach the 15% threshold required for official representation. The elected unions will act as the primary interlocutors with the Generalitat until 2031.
