Organizers of la Volta have cancelled the scheduled climb to Vallter this Thursday due to extreme weather forecasts, including wind gusts exceeding 80 km/h.

To ensure rider safety, the finish line has been moved to Camprodon. Forecasts predicted temperatures well below freezing and a wind chill factor of -10 degrees Celsius at the summit. The stage has been shortened to 151 kilometers, starting from Mataró at 1:05 PM.
French rider Dorian Godon remains the overall leader. Yesterday's stage was marked by a crash involving Remco Evenepoel, who managed to stay in second place overall despite the incident. The upcoming stages in Pals and Queralt are expected to proceed as planned.
