Girona FC coach Míchel announced the 23-man squad traveling to Asturias to face Oviedo tomorrow, Saturday, January 31, 2026, featuring five significant returns.

The red-and-white team recovers three fundamental players who were injured: defender Axel Witsel, striker Cristhian Stuani, and midfielder Abel Ruiz. These returns strengthen the squad ahead of the match to be played at the Carlos Tartiere stadium.

The recovery of key players from injury and suspension provides Míchel with more tactical options to face the final stretch of the season.

In addition to the injured players, Míchel will also be able to rely on Arnau Martínez and Lass, who had been suspended. Arnau returns after serving his card accumulation suspension, while Lass, a reserve team player, returns after his expulsion against Osasuna.
The 23-player list also includes goalkeepers Gazzaniga, Ter Stegen, and Krapyvtsov. The only active roster absences due to injury are Van de Beek and Ounahi, as Juan Carlos and Portu will not play again this season.
