Bàsquet Girona, led by coach Moncho Fernández, reached tenth place in the ACB in January following a winning streak that brings them closer to European competition berths.

The renewal of coach Moncho Fernández until June 30, 2027, marked a commitment to continuity. The coach has successfully implemented a change in style, moving from the long possessions that characterized his time at Obradoiro to a faster game adapted to modern basketball.
