Several users in Girona have reported a lack of information and the "chaos" generated by the bus service that Renfe offers as an alternative to the train service cut since January 27.

The interruption of the railway service affects the R11 and RG1 lines, which remain cut between Caldes de Malavella and Portbou due to a landslide. Renfe implemented coach routes to cover the journey, but passengers have expressed strong frustration over the disorganization.
One of the affected individuals, Glòria Ferrer, told ACN about her experience, stating she needed to travel to Figueres. Initially, she was directed to a coach, but was later told to get off because the route had been changed without clear notification.

"But then they made me get off because they had changed the route and it was going to Caldes."

Another passenger, Ainoa Roque, reported uncertainty regarding return schedules. Despite being able to travel from Caldes to Girona by coach, she did not know the departure time of the return bus, which caused her significant personal distress.

"I have a child and I don't know if I will be able to pick her up. It is distressing."
