Olot secured a crucial 0-1 victory against Atlètic Lleida, while Girona B suffered a defeat away at Sant Andreu, complicating their standing in the league table.

Olot, coached by Roger Vidal, achieved a vital narrow victory against Atlètic Lleida, a direct rival in the fight for permanence. The victory was secured thanks to a goal by Pau Salvans, his second since arriving in the winter market from Sant Andreu.

The winger Salvans is providing immediate performance to the team from Garrotxa, which had him last season. With this win, the team moves within six points of the promotion play-off, following an excellent run of 10 points out of 12 possible, putting them seven points clear of direct relegation to 3a división FEF.

The opposite fate was experienced by Girona B, who lost during their visit to Narcís Sala to face Sant Andreu, one of the clear favorites to compete in the promotion play-offs. Walid's brace in the first half (in the 6th and 38th minutes) proved too difficult a challenge for the Girona reserve team.

Although Girona B managed to narrow the gap through Trigui in the 54th minute, the equalizer did not arrive. Quique Álvarez's team stalls in the middle of the table, five points away from direct relegation and only one point from the play-out position, the necessity of which is yet to be confirmed.
