Commuters on the R11 and RG1 rail lines in Girona expressed their frustration on Tuesday due to the lack of clear information regarding the substitute buses following the service cut caused by a landslide.

The interruption of the rail service, which affects the section between Caldes de Malavella and Portbou, is a consequence of a landslide. The operator Renfe has implemented an alternative service using coaches to cover the route, but the management of this solution has been heavily criticized by users.
Passenger Glòria Ferrer described the situation as “chaos,” detailing how the vehicle's route was changed without prior notice. This confusion has been the general trend at the Girona station.

"I have to go to Figueres, they told me to get on a bus, but then they made me get off because they changed the route and it was going to Caldes."

Another affected user, Ainoa Roque, lamented the uncertainty regarding return schedules. Despite being able to travel from Caldes to Girona, she received no information about the return bus departure, causing her great personal distress.

"I have a child and I don't know if I will be able to pick her up. It is distressing."
