The municipal group Guanyem Girona starts the 'We Improve Life' cycle this January in the city of Girona to debate and explain to residents the work done and the governing model they intend to consolidate.

The cycle, which will run until November, is part of the group's desire to focus on current policies and the path being taken to transform Girona with a future perspective.

"We believe in politics close to the people and in the importance of explaining what we do and why we do it. Governing is not only about making decisions, but also giving ourselves the space and time to have the necessary debates and explain our proposals to the residents."

The first of the ten thematic events will be held on Thursday, January 29, at 7 p.m., at the Centre Cívic Ter, focusing on affordable housing, one of the city's central social challenges amid access difficulties.

"We are clear about the city model we defend and we want to continue explaining it to the people of Girona. At Guanyem Girona, we work for a city that puts neighborhoods and people at the center and improves life."

Subsequent sessions, running until November, will cover key topics such as climate action, equality, social justice, sustainable mobility, education, and the future of the Health Campus and the new Trueta hospital.
