Goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen, on loan from Barça, joined Girona FC training at the Vilablareix Sports City on Wednesday, expressing both excitement and nervousness.

Ter Stegen's arrival at the Vilablareix facilities occurred after his loan from FC Barcelona was made official the previous night. The German goalkeeper, who will spend the rest of the season with Míchel's team, was welcomed by the entire staff.

"I am a little nervous about meeting people after 12 years there. I am very eager to start."
