The Dr. Josep Trueta University Hospital of Girona and the KH-7 Costa Brava Rally have launched the "Kilometers for Life" campaign to raise funds for the modernization of the Cardiac Critical Care Unit during the event in Girona from March 5 to 7.

The solidarity initiative, named "Kilometers for Life", allows visitors to the 74th Rally to make financial contributions both at the hospital's stand and online. The rally takes place in Girona and Fornells de la Selva between March 5 and 7.
All proceeds from this first edition will be entirely allocated to the renovation of the Cardiac Critical Care Unit at Trueta. This project is crucial for improving the quality of care and safety for patients across the Girona regions.

The modernization of the Cardiac Critical Care Unit will allow it to be equipped with new technological equipment and facilities adapted to current health standards.

In addition to equipment upgrades, the initiative seeks to strengthen working conditions for healthcare professionals and optimize care for patients with severe cardiac conditions. For every 5 euros donated, participants will receive a ticket for the raffle of a solidarity hamper, which will take place on Saturday, March 7.
