Golf de Pals and Golf Serres de Pals are participating in the “Discover Golf” campaign, an initiative by the Catalan Golf Federation created to facilitate access to this sport for people who are not yet members.Since 2024, when the campaign began at Golf de Pals and Golf Serres de Pals, the two courses have welcomed over 100 new players of different ages and backgrounds who wanted to discover golf and have their first experience with this sport.
The goal is not only to teach the first strokes but to guide these individuals throughout the entire initiation process so they can learn, progress, meet other players, and begin to feel part of the world of golf.
An easy way to start playing golf How does one start playing golf? For many people, this is a difficult question to answer. Golf can seem like a sport that requires prior knowledge, personal equipment, or experience before entering a course.
The “Discover Golf” campaign by the Catalan Golf Federation was born precisely to eliminate these barriers and offer a simple, accessible, and progressive way to start playing.
The program consists of 24 hours of introductory classes for a total price of €300—€12.50 per hour—in small groups of up to six people. Additionally, you don't need to own your own equipment: clubs and balls are included in the course.
Classes can be scheduled on weekdays or weekends, depending on the club's availability. It's also possible to form a group with friends or family, always within the established maximum of six participants.
The promotion is exclusively for non-federated individuals.
Upon completing the course, participants receive their federation license and handicap (HCP), two elements that allow them to continue progressing in their golf practice and begin to participate more actively in the sport.
The response to the initiative confirms the interest in discovering golf when a clear and simple way to take the first step is offered. Since the campaign began at both courses, over 100 people have already started this learning process.
For many of them, it was their first contact with a club, a ball, and a golf course. However, the objective goes beyond hitting the first shots: it's about learning progressively, understanding the game, and gaining the necessary confidence to start enjoying golf.

Golf de Pals and Golf Serres de Pals offer two complementary experiences to discover and continue practicing golf in Pals, on the Costa Brava.Golf Serres de Pals has a 9-hole course and practice areas that allow for progressive learning: from the first shots to starting to play on the course.
Golf de Pals, with its 18-hole course and practice facilities, complements this offering and provides an environment to continue developing one's game.
Located just 4 km apart, the two courses allow golf to be approached as a progressive journey: discover it, learn, go out on the course, and continue evolving.
For Golf de Pals and Golf Serres de Pals, the value of the campaign goes beyond the numbers. Every new person who approaches golf is an opportunity to break down barriers and introduce this sport to new audiences, showcasing an activity that combines exercise, concentration, contact with nature, and a significant social component.
