Club Esportiu Europa secured a vital 2-0 victory against Antequera at home, relying on the goal-scoring effectiveness of brothers Jordi and Àlex Cano during the first half of the match.

The victory, described as a professional win, came despite the lack of fluidity in Europa's play. The first goal arrived in the 10th minute when a shot by Jordi Cano was deflected by a defender, opening the score (1-0).
The match was marked by several interruptions and referee reviews. Following a clear chance by Izan that resulted in a corner, captain Àlex Cano scored the second goal with a header from the resulting set piece (2-0). Shortly after, a foul on Khalid led to the expulsion of the opposing forward, leaving Antequera with ten men before halftime.
In the second half, Aday's team started with low intensity, but goalkeeper Flere saved the initial dangerous shots. A powerful strike by Roger Escoruela served as a turning point, allowing Europa to string together meaningful plays and control the pace until the final whistle.
With this win, the Gràcia-based team maintains second place in the standings, just one point behind league leader Atlético de Madrid 'B'. Their next league match is scheduled for Sunday, December 21 against Murcia, currently in fourth place.
