The works of Toni Sala, Alba Dalmau, Care Santos, and Antònia Carré Pons have been selected as finalists for the 20th edition of the El Setè Cel Literary Prize in Salt, an award recognizing previously published works in Catalan.

Participating libraries and the prize jury will decide who will succeed Jordi Puntí, last year's winner with Confeti. The four finalist works are Si una família by Alba Dalmau, Escenaris by Toni Sala, L’amor que passa by Care Santos, and La gran família by Antònia Carré-Pons.
From now on, these novels will be discussed and analyzed in reading clubs in Salt and Santa Coloma de Farners. Readers will have the opportunity to vote on which work deserves the recognition.
Additionally, librarians from the Llibres i Companyia collective will also cast their verdict, which, along with the jury's decision, will determine the winner. The award ceremony will take place in the coming months.
The jury of the El Setè Cel Prize is chaired by Vicenç Villatoro and includes Guillem Terribas, Miquel Berga, Albert Rossich, and Margarida Casacuberta as members. The mayor of Salt, Cristina Alarcón, and the Deputy Mayor for Culture, Toni Vidal, also participate with voice but no vote.
