The Vall de Llémena Institute in Sant Gregori was preventively evacuated on Wednesday afternoon after a fire extinguisher was activated inside, causing discomfort to some students.

The incident occurred around 1:30 PM this Wednesday at the educational center in Sant Gregori. The activation of a fire extinguisher inside the premises generated an alert situation that required the intervention of emergency services.
Following the discharge of the extinguisher, several students reported symptoms of itching. For this reason, emergency personnel recommended the preventive evacuation of the affected area of the Vall de Llémena Institute.
A unit of the Bombers de la Generalitat (Catalan Firefighters) was dispatched to the scene, confirming that the area had already been evacuated. Their task focused on ventilating the classroom and carrying out relevant safety measurements.
According to the emergency service, the measurements yielded correct results. Once the Firefighters' intervention was concluded and air quality was secured, students were able to return to the classrooms and teaching activity resumed normally.
