The event, held this Monday, highlighted the importance of farming and livestock in land management and landscape conservation. The initiative allows citizens to visit farms directly, learn about local products, and understand the effort involved in food production.
The Consorci del Lluçanès has maintained its commitment to this project since its first edition. This year, the region is participating with an offer that includes two farms, two accommodations, and a restaurant, strengthening the connection between local production and tourism.
During the day, the fundamental role of extensive livestock farming in fire prevention and the need to ensure generational renewal in the countryside were highlighted. The administrations emphasized that supporting the sector is essential for maintaining municipalities and the quality of food based on zero-kilometer products.
To facilitate participation, an information brochure has been published with all participating companies and available proposals. Last year, the initiative recorded nearly 1,500 visits in Lluçanès, a figure that reflects the growing interest in knowing the origin of food.
