The Town Council of Prats de Lluçanès has opened the voting period for its Participatory Budgets, allocating 33,000 euros to the most popular citizen projects.

The fifth edition of the Participatory Budgets in Prats de Lluçanès has reached its final stage with the commencement of voting for the selected proposals. This year, the council is allocating 33,000 euros to this citizen initiative.
Since last June, when the call for proposals opened, nearly thirty citizen initiatives have been received. Following a validation process, 10 finalist projects have been chosen and are now eligible for funding throughout October.
Participation in the vote is open to all residents of Prats de Lluçanès aged 16 and over. Each voter can cast a single vote, selecting up to three projects and ranking them by priority. The system assigns 3 points to the first project, 2 to the second, and 1 to the third.
Voting can be done in person at the Town Council offices, using the designated voting form, or online via the municipal website.
Once the voting period concludes, projects will be prioritized based on their scores. If the top-voted project does not exhaust the entire budget, subsequent proposals will be considered for implementation until the available 33,000 euros are allocated, provided they are feasible.
Participatory Budgets serve as a key tool for citizen engagement, enabling residents to directly decide on a portion of municipal resources. The Town Council encourages all citizens to exercise their right to vote.
