The Cabrils City Council held its October public hearing, beginning with a moment of silence for the victims of the Toledo train accident, and discussing topics such as the state of the Baixada de Can Roldós and the Torrent Xaret.

Following the summer break, the October public hearing commenced with a minute of silence in memory and tribute to the victims of the train accident that occurred in Toledo the previous Wednesday. The event, attended by about twenty people, addressed several points of municipal interest.
The condition of the Baixada de Can Roldós and the Torrent Xaret after recent rains was discussed. The City Council explained that both areas are in sectors not yet officially received, limiting their intervention. For the Baixada de Can Roldós, the Ter-Llobregat Authority has been asked to repair the damage caused by two water leaks during the summer.
Inquiries were also made about the project to repair sidewalks and trees in the Can Valls area. The mayor confirmed that this action will be included in the 2027 budget. The process for responding to pending municipal requests was clarified.
Residents of Cabrils raised concerns about road safety, including signage, visibility issues, parking and access problems, and the state of urban furniture. Notes were taken to evaluate future actions with the Local Police.
Regarding radon levels in municipal facilities, it was reported that monitored levels are very low and well below the thresholds requiring corrective measures.
Finally, the management of the Can Tolrà water service during the summer, handled by the company contracted by the City Council after an emergency intervention, was discussed.
The next public hearing, the last of the year, will be held on Thursday, December 17th.
