The Corporació de Salut del Maresme i la Selva and the Associació Contra el Càncer a Barcelona have signed a collaboration agreement to improve care for cancer patients, expanding the activities of the Domum Program at Calella Hospital.

The agreement will enable Association professionals to conduct talks on social and psychological care, labor affairs, and oncological physiotherapy for patients treated by the Corporation. Furthermore, coordination between both entities will be enhanced so that patients can access the resources offered by the Associació Contra el Càncer.
Awareness campaigns on tobacco consumption, sun protection, and colon cancer will also be carried out through traveling exhibitions from the Association, open to the public, at various Corporation centers. These initiatives continue the exhibitions previously held at Calella and Blanes Hospitals, and at the primary care centers of Calella and Lloret de Mar.
The Associació Contra el Càncer a Barcelona is a non-profit organization providing services such as psychological and social care, oncological physiotherapy, nutrition, and support volunteering to reduce the impact of the disease and improve the lives of patients and their families.
