The Dosrius City Council unanimously approved a motion on October 29th to guarantee the continuity, quality, and health safety of the drinking water supply in Can Canyamars.

The motion, initially presented by municipal groups LAPAC, SDP, and ERC, and by non-attached councillor Pedro Martínez Rigote, was agreed upon with amendments and transactional proposals from PSC and JxCAT. The agreement seeks to ensure the necessary administrative and judicial actions for the service, including the possibility of temporary intervention of the network in case of health emergencies.
A temporary consultative monitoring body for the service will be created, with participation from neighborhood representatives and municipal groups, to facilitate the follow-up of actions and collaboration between the Council and the residents of the urbanisation.
Furthermore, the council commits to informing the Plenary and enhancing communication with the Can Canyamars Property Owners Association through regular joint working meetings.
With this unanimous approval, the Dosrius City Council expresses its commitment to resolving the water supply issues through institutional consensus, transparency, and neighborhood collaboration, aiming to ensure a safe and continuous service.
