Photographer Albert Canalejo Osorio has been appointed as the official visual chronicler for Les Santes 2026 in Mataró, taking on the responsibility of capturing the festival for the upcoming institutional exhibition.

After two decades of documenting the Festa Major for various media outlets, Albert Canalejo receives this prestigious commission coinciding with his 20th professional anniversary. Born in Mataró in 1984, the photographer expressed his excitement for an opportunity that allows him to explore a more artistic perspective of the event.

"I thought this day would never come, that they had forgotten about me. I have things in mind and now I will focus more on the artistic side."
