This afternoon, at eight o'clock, the Plaça de l'Església in Calella will be the venue for the last swing dance of the summer. The initiative, celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, has transformed this public space into an open-air dance floor during August Thursdays, offering swing and lindy hop music.
The event is open to both experienced dancers and beginners. The sessions have featured The Hot Swing Machine. It is noteworthy that two of the planned gatherings this summer had to be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
This activity is a collaboration between the Calella City Council and Swing Maresme, aiming to bring music and dance to the streets.
