The Capgrossos de Mataró celebrate their 30th anniversary this Sunday, March 15th, with a special event at the Port of Mataró featuring workshops, sports, and the first human tower performance of the year.

The celebration will begin early in the morning with sports activities. From 9:00 to 11:00 AM, Rem Mataró will offer a rowing workshop, while Ritme Óptim will organize a running session until 10:00 AM. For families, musician Pol Nord will perform a children's concert to set the mood before the main events.
A key highlight will be the Megataller de Canalla at 11:30 AM, an initiative designed to introduce the world of 'castells' to children. Through games and dynamics, kids can experience building a small tower or learn about the top positions. At 12:15 PM, a commemorative exhibition showcasing the group's 30-year history will be inaugurated.
The main human tower performance will start at 12:30 PM. On this occasion, Capgrossos de Mataró will be joined by Xics de Granollers and Castellers de Barcelona. The day will conclude with a community lunch and music at the port facilities.
