Sandá CB L'Hospitalet achieved a hard-fought victory (61-56) against CB Boet Mataró at the Poliesportiu del Centre, solidifying its position at the top of the league table.

The game, played on January 11, started with a sluggish first quarter for CB L'Hospitalet, which ended 12-17 in favor of CB Boet Mataró. Despite gradual improvement, the home team was still behind at halftime (31-34), with Nil Baqués and Màxim Esteban serving as the main offensive resources.
The pattern continued until the end of the third quarter, when a basket by Pol Barbecho allowed Òscar Navarro's team to take the lead for the first time (44-43). This minimal advantage gave Hospi the necessary confidence to resolve the match without brilliance, resulting in a final score of 61-56.
With this victory, Sandá CB L'Hospitalet closes the first round with a record of 11 wins and two losses, a highly positive assessment. Òscar Navarro's team remains in the top tier and has the opportunity to finish the regular season in first place, as many direct rivals will have to visit the Centre court.
Before the match, the club held the presentation of its 19 federated teams and basketball school at the Poliesportiu municipal del Centre – Marcel·lí Maneja. The event was attended by institutional figures, including Berni Álvarez, Sports Councillor of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and David Quirós, Mayor of L'Hospitalet, and served to honor the club's 97 years of history, founded in 1929.
