The Mataró City Council reported a 15.9% increase in the use of its e-office during 2025, reaching a record 97,192 procedures completed through digital channels.

This growth confirms a shift in local habits, as 71% of complaints and inquiries are now submitted online. The most popular service remains the download of census certificates, accounting for over 20,000 requests.
A key highlight of 2025 was the introduction of online newborn registration, which already accounts for 27% of all births registered in the city, with an average response time of less than 24 hours.
