Club Natació Sabadell experienced a significant defeat (13-6) against Assolim Mataró in the first leg of the women's División de Honor water polo semi-finals.

The Sabadell team, coached by David Palma, showed weaknesses in attack during the match played in Mataró. The result leaves the team with a difficult task for the return leg, scheduled for Friday at home. The objective is to force a third game in Mataró to compete for a place in the final.
Assolim Mataró, managed by Dani Ballart, sealed the victory with a devastating 6-0 third quarter. Although the visitors managed to keep the score balanced until halftime, with strong performances such as that of Isabel Williams, the home defense prevailed in the second half.
Before halftime, goals from Van de Kraats, Daniela Moreno, and Paula Crespí had tied the game at 4-4. However, in the second half, the Club found themselves blocked in attack against Mataró's solid defense. Goals from Hauschild (2), Roemer, and Guiral opened a gap, extended by Cambray to 9-4. Roemer concluded the quarter at 10-4.
In the final eight minutes, Mataró definitively sealed the win. Hauschild and Morell made it 13-4, and although Ona Jurado and Daniela Moreno reduced the deficit to the final 13-6 with a lob, the margin is considerable.
Now, Club Natació Sabadell faces the challenge of winning this Friday at home to have a chance to play a decisive third game in Mataró.
