The political party Junts per Catalunya in Maresme has announced the selection of half of its candidates for the municipal elections in May 2027, with the goal of completing the list by June.

The regional leadership of Junts has reported that fifteen names have already been chosen to represent the party in various municipalities in the region. Of these, ten are figures who participated in previous elections, while five are new additions seeking to bring a fresh political vision.
The new faces joining the list of candidates include representatives for towns such as Teià, Vilassar de Dalt, Argentona, Sant Vicenç de Montalt, and Sant Cebrià de Vallalta. These new profiles are added to a group of candidates already established in local politics.
Among the returning candidates are the current mayors of Arenys de Mar, Premià de Mar, Cabrera de Mar, and Òrrius. The leaders of the opposition in Alella, Cabrils, Vilassar de Mar, and Sant Iscle de Vallalta, as well as opposition councilors in Pineda de Mar and Mataró, are also part of the list.
