The Maresme region celebrates its diversity with the 45th Calella and Alt Maresme Fair, which this year focuses on 'sea and mountain culture', an identity trait of the region. The Maresme County Council participates once again in this event, held at Passeig Manuel Puigvert in Calella, with its own stand to showcase the local business and artisan fabric.
The County Council's space will serve to introduce the public to products and projects from the Maresme 'Products of the Land' Network and the 'Impulse for Artisan, Artistic and Creative Business in Maresme' project. The Fair is structured into four main areas: Familiàrium (children's activities), gastronomy, crafts, and the Maresme space, which will include the Obrador with demonstrations.
At the County Council's stand, four business initiatives will be showcased: Vitae Kombucha (kombucha), Brèscat (honey), Matilde Hervella Resin Art (sea-inspired decorative resin pieces), and Kokoro Art-Taller de Paper (recycled paper and artistic paper creations). These businesses represent the transformation of the territory into products and creations.
The County Council's stand will be open throughout the Fair. Participating businesses will be present on different days: Matilde Hervella Resin Art (Thursday, September 24), Vitae Kombucha (Friday, September 25), Brèscat (Saturday, September 26), and Kokoro Art – Taller de Paper (Sunday, September 27). The County Council's technical team will also be present.
The participation of the Maresme County Council in the Calella Fair aims to highlight the diversity of the Maresme productive fabric and give visibility to small businesses and projects that turn local products, crafts, and creativity into economic activity.
