The Plenary of the Llavaneres City Council has unanimously approved that the institution immediately notify all individuals affected by the publication of their personal data on the Public Procurement Services Platform, following a security incident detected on October 6th.
In contrast, the extraordinary session, requested by opposition groups (Movem Llavaneres, ERC, and Junts per Llavaneres, as well as the non-attached councilor), rejected proposals for the revocation of powers, reprobation of management, and resignation of the Councilor for Aigües de Llavaneres, Josep Ruiz. Councilor Marc Enríquez (Junts per Llavaneres) excused his attendance.
The decision to approve notification to affected individuals was made unanimously. Regarding the revocation of powers and the reprobation of Councilor Josep Ruiz's management, the proposals were rejected with the same votes: in favor, ERC, Junts per Llavaneres, Movem Llavaneres, and the non-attached councilor; against, PSC, PP, and Acord. Councilor Josep Ruiz announced his absence from the vote and placed his position at the disposal of the plenary.
The mayor, Àlex Neira (PSC), explained that the City Council became aware of the data publication on October 6th and immediately contacted the AOC (Generalitat's platform) to have the document removed, which was done on the 7th.

Before the extraordinary plenary session, the City Council held a public draw to designate the members of the electoral boards for the general elections on November 29th.
