The city of Mataró will serve as the starting point this Thursday, March 26th, for the fourth stage of the 105th edition of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya.

The race will travel from the Maresme coast to the Vallter mountain station. This special category climb reaches an altitude of 2,135 meters, featuring an 11-kilometer ascent from Setcases with an average gradient of 7.6%.
On Friday, March 27th, the fifth stage will depart from La Seu d'Urgell, finishing at La Molina/Coll de Pal. This location in the Berguedà region marks a historic return to the men's World Tour circuit after more than 45 years.
Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) emphasized that hosting these stages showcases the capacity of their Pirineu365 mountain resorts to hold major sporting events, especially with this year's snowy conditions providing a scenic backdrop.
