The Maresme and Selva Health Corporation has launched a new patient reception and notification system this March at the CAP centers in Calella, Malgrat, Palafolls, Lloret, and Tossa.

The system aims to organize user flow and strengthen data confidentiality. Upon arrival, patients identify themselves using their Individual Health Card (TSI) at kiosks located in the lobby to receive a ticket with an identification code.
This code is later displayed on information screens in waiting areas, directing the patient to the specific consultation room. This method prevents staff from calling patients by name, significantly improving the privacy of personal information.
This project began in 2023 with the installation of the system at the Calella and Blanes hospitals, specifically within outpatient clinics and diagnostic imaging departments.
