The program, led by the Barcelona Provincial Council with support from the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, awarded 11 companies for the first time, while 106 renewed their distinction. This figure confirms sustainability as a strategic pillar for the region's tourism sector.
During the event, the 2026 Action Plan of the Maresme Tourism Consortium was presented. Key projects include the Maresme EuroVelo 8, an initiative funded by Next Generation EU funds aiming to position the region as a leader in sustainable cycle tourism.
