The Mossos d'Esquadra police force forcibly removed a group of teachers on Thursday, March 19, during a protest at the Education Territorial Services in Mataró.

The incident occurred at the government building on Churruca street. Members of the Maresme Education Workers Assembly (ATEM) were attempting to enter the facility when ARRO riot police units intervened. Witnesses reported that several individuals were handled roughly during the eviction.

"We denounce that the police are forcibly removing us from the Maresme - Vallès Oriental headquarters. A colleague has suffered injuries."

The USTEC union released footage of the police action, claiming that one participant sustained injuries. This protest was part of a wider educational strike in Catalonia, which also saw demonstrators blocking the C-32 and C-60 highways earlier in the day.
