The Mossos d'Esquadra and the National Police arrested at least 14 people this Monday in Catalonia, including Mataró, during a major operation against the Turkish mafia.

The investigation, coordinated by Europol, targets a criminal network involved in smuggling firearms into Spain and exporting drugs to Europe. Raids took place in Mataró, Teià, Tordera, and Barcelona.
Over 200 officers participated in the simultaneous searches, seizing weapons, cash, and narcotics. The case remains under judicial secrecy as authorities continue investigations in Bulgaria and Greece.
