All proceeds from the festival will be donated to the Fundació Catalana d’Esclerosi Lateral Amiotròfica Miquel Valls, an organization that supports individuals affected by this disease and their families. The event also aims to keep alive the legacy of David Monje, a renowned music producer from Palamós who passed away last March due to the same illness.
David Monje, who was involved in the alternative electronic music scene for three decades, had a prolific career as a music producer and DJ, releasing numerous productions and performing in venues across Catalonia, France, and Germany.
The 'Monje Forever' lineup is headlined by artists such as Robert Leiner, Basil O’Glue, and Rebeka Brown. The program will feature over twenty local, national, and international artists. The event will take place at the Y Club venue in Santa Susanna, with music running continuously from midday until six in the morning, offering approximately sixteen hours of performances across three different spaces.
The Black Hole room will host performances by Robert Leiner and Basil O’Glue, alongside GuyOhm, Mike Healer, Rebe Komplot, Melocko, Purple Division, and Neosonic. Meanwhile, the Monje room will feature Nuria Ghia, J Keane, Bea, Amaranto, Alex Macross, Raul de Oses, and Fran’Etik.
The venue's terrace will be the stage for Rebeka Brown, who will perform accompanied by Mercè Homs, Loisan, Mark Wieding, Pablo Ordoñez, Gsus Lopez, Serio, Toti Rkzenz, and Alex Garcia. Additionally, Juan and Fred will offer a joint set.
Through this initiative, 'Monje Forever' aims to unite music, memory, and solidarity, transforming the tribute to David Monje into tangible support for those affected by ALS. Tickets for this inaugural edition are now available through the Xceed platform.
