SolarTradex CN Mataro was eliminated from the water polo Copa del Rey this March after losing 11-6 to Sant Andreu in Terrassa.

The team coached by Victor Gonzalez struggled from the opening whistle, facing a 4-0 deficit early in the match. Despite attempts to close the gap, the Maresme-based squad could not overcome Sant Andreu's solid defensive structure.
By halftime, the score stood at 7-3 in favor of the Barcelona team. Mataro's main struggle was offensive efficiency, converting only 10% of their power-play opportunities, which prevented any real chance of a comeback during the second half.
Eudald Flaque scored twice for CN Mataro, while Arnau Cunillera led the match with three goals for the opposition. The team will now shift its focus to the remaining goals of the current season.
