Sports clubs across Maresme and Selva face an intense weekend with crucial matches in various categories, highlighting the fight for leadership and permanence, alongside the announcement of the Lloret Rally.

The Primera Catalana returns with excitement at the top, as leader Argentona hosts Sant Jaume Olot B. CF Lloret, meanwhile, visits Unió Esportiva Figueres. In Futsal, Futsal Mataró, the leader of the Segunda División B, hosts the third-ranked Club Natació Sabadell in a demanding match before the holidays.
In basketball, Unió Esportiva Mataró travels to the Balearic Islands on Saturday to try and escape the bottom zone. Bàsquet Lloret visits Marc Torell on Sunday seeking to end a two-game losing streak. In hockey, Grup Hoquei Mataró plays at home against Club Pati Tordera, with both teams fighting for top positions.

The weekend brings together direct duels and clashes between leaders and contenders across almost all sports disciplines in the region.

Handball features key relegation battles, such as UE Handbol Calella visiting Esplugues. The women's team of Juventut Mataró, leader of the Lliga Catalana Or, plays away at Sant Boi. Finally, the thirteenth edition of the Lloret Rally is confirmed, scheduled for February 6 to 8.
